Do you have a great photo of an eagle, owl, hawk, falcon or vulture? You are encouraged to submit it for the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program’s 2011 calendar photo contest. The deadline is July 1 and the photographs will be featured in their calendar and on RMRP’s website. Calendar: The finished calendar will be approximately 9" x 11" (landscape). It will include one large photo per month as well as smaller photos in the calendar grid. Businesses can sponsor a month and their business name and logo will be printed on their month. Photographer information will be included, as well as details about the subject. 2,000 calendars will be printed and sold by RMRP to raise funds for its lifesaving work. You can reserve yours by calling us at 970-484-7756. Photo Size: The resolution of each photo submitted must be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). Photos must be at least 12" wide at that resolution. Deadline: Photos must be received by July 1, at 5:00 pm. Submission: Please submit photos on CD-R (recordable CD). Please include your name, address, phone number and email address. It also helps the organization provide 170 days annually of public education programs throughout the region. Subjects: Photos of raptors (birds of prey) that are naturally found in Colorado. (See list below). Judging: Final decision making and notification will occur by August 1. What Will You Receive: The best photographs will be published in the calendar.
