RMRP has a position opening for a volunteer Gift Shop Associate to assist with managing the merchandise that we sell at public outreach exhibits and in our Gift Shop. We're seeking a bright, outgoing, detailed-oriented person who enjoys communicating with others.

Duties will include pricing, stocking and displaying merchandise in house and at outreach exhibits; inventory control; packing merchandise for outreach exhibits; selling merchandise at RMRP, taking photos and writing descriptions of merchandise for online sales; and packaging online sales orders.

Merchandise sales account for about 10% of RMRP’s revenue and support our lifesaving mission. This position has growth potential as RMRP has plans for increasing merchandise sales in the future.

The ideal candidate will:
•    Be able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week on a weekday (there is flexibility with the day and time)
•    Have good attention to detail
•    Have experience in cashiering making change
•    Be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel

Benefits: You will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the RMRP gift shop for each month of work. This experience will look great on your résumé! You will learn good puzzle skills (how to pack a whole store into several tiny crates and fit it all in a van)

Full training will be provided in cash handling procedures, merchandise display, marketing, and packing.
