| Owl Babies Get New Foster Homes |
|
Volunteer Jeff Stark placed the youngsters in their new home. Each year, RMRP successfully returns youngsters of a variety of species back to their nest sites or places them in foster nest sites. This is the best option for the birds, especially GHOW babies who require extended periods of parental care. Help RMRP get babies back in the nest. Note how well disguised these owls are in the tree. The other baby is camera shy.

Can you see the two owls in this photo? Two Greeat Horned Owl (GHOW) youngsters, one from Masonville and one from Evans, were recently placed with a foster family in south Fort Collins. One of their nests had been abandoned, and the location of the other nest was unknown.
