Tours are led by the very knowledgable Eric DeFonso. Eric has a graduate degree in meteorology and is a self-taught naturalist, a birder, writer, and wildlife photographer. He coordinates and leads field trips for the Fort Collins Audubon Society and is an educational bird-handler for the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program in Fort Collins. Cost: $50 per person per tour (children under 18 are half-price) Tour Description: The spacious tour van takes maximum 6 passengers from the Harmony Library to various sites in Larimer and/or Weld Counties to appreciate great views and photographic opportunities of a variety of Colorado raptors such as Red-tailed, Swainson’s and Ferruginous Hawks, American Kestrel, Golden and Bald Eagles, and Burrowing Owls.
