Welcome, ye lords and ladies! Many of RMRP's Educational Ambassadors will be attending the 2011 Colorado Renaissance Festival as they play the role of the King's royal birds of prey.  Every weekend through June and July, the birds and our volunteers will be joining fellow festival goers in complete renaissance att

Come see them up close, and hear their stories.  Find out how they were initially injured. Hear the stories of their progress and treatments, and how these permanently disabled Ambassadors give back to us every day.

Welcome!  Good King Henry invites you to spend the day when you attend the 2011 Colorado Renaissance Festival.  For our 34th season, we take you on a magical tour through time and legend.  As you wander down the village streets and pathways of the Colorado Renaissance Festival, ready thyself to revel with master revelers, watch artisans create original works of their ancient craft and be taken in by the tantalizing aromas of roast turkey legges, steak on a stake, fresh baked goods and much more. Featuring a cast of hundreds of authentically costumed merrymakers living and working throughout the village and performing, continuously, upon the Festival's seven stages, the illusion of a rollicking 16th Century festival day is created.  Impromptu encounters with the royalty and peasantry of Tudor England are commonplace.  You'll meet all kinds, from jousters to jugglers to minstrels to maidens faire, all schooled in art of interactive theatre!  Much new entertainment has been summoned by Good King Henry for this glorious season. Enjoy the classical creativity and craftsmanship of over 200 skilled artisans exhibiting in a wide variety of mediums including fine art, glassblowing, pottery, jewelry, wood working, blacksmithing, leather working and more. You are especially fortunate to have brought your appetite to the Festival as feasting is an absolute must!  Awaken your taste buds with such renaissance delicacies as turkey drumsticks, steak on a stake, roasted corn, Leonardo DaVinci meatball sandwich, artichokes, a variety of sausage on a stick, and more.  An assortment of the finest ales and drinks are available to quench the heartiest of thirsts. Over 500 years of family fun awaits all that enter the realm of the Colorado Renaissance Festival, where pleasures reign and merrymaking is the rule!
