What’s a Dollar Worth?

Baby_GhowA Weekly Gift for One Year Goes a Long Way:

$1 per week buys a tank of gas so the RMRP can drive to pick up an injured bird, or transport the Educational Ambassadors to an outreach exhibit.
$2 per week buys medication and fluid therapy for an injured bald eagle so it can once again dive into a lake to catch a fish.
$5 per week buys enough mice to feed the RMRP Educational Screech Owl for 8 months so he can visit school children throughout Colorado.
$8 per week supports a visit to a classroom of children by a peregrine falcon, a great horned owl, and a golden eagle to spark excitement and imagination in the mind of a child.
$10 per week supports x-rays, anaesthesia, and surgery for a Red-tailed Hawk with a broken wing so it can fly again and touch the clouds.
$15 per week buys supplies to test 100 hawks and eagles that are victims of lead poisoning so that RMRP staff and volunteers can give the right treatment to cure these birds.
$25 per week supports medical services for the Critical Care ward for one month so the feathered patients can return to the wild.

The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program inspires the appreciation and protection of raptors through excellence in rehabilitation, education, and research.
