aug photos 068Rocky Mountain Raptor Program travels to dozens of community events each year.  These events feature our Educational Ambassadors, disabled birds who work as "teaching assistants" to educate the community about raptors.  These events are informal, allowing you to gaze at the birds as long as you want and provides an opportunity to ask any question about raptors and what the RMRP does.

Events range from pancake breakfasts at the raptor center to appearances at festivals like Taste of Fort Collins and the Boulder Creek Festival.  Community Events raise awareness of Rocky Mountain Raptor Program and the raptors we protect.  Exhibits provide information about the birds, volunteer opportunities, the Raptor Center's other programs and more.  At many events you will have the opportunity to purchase cool raptor merchandise to support the birds.   Check out our calendar to see when we will be coming to a special event near you!
