Many unknowns continue to exist due to the spread of Covid 19. The summer of 2021 looks promising for the RMRP to return to public events. While these events are currently scheduled, this may change, please check back before planning your outing.

Thank you for your understanding.

Swainson's Soiree @ Rocky Mountain Raptor Program
Jun 26 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Come enjoy the day outside and celebrate Swainson's Hawks.  Saturday June 26th, 2021 from 9:00am-1:00pm. RMRP will be sharing the broad wing soaring hawks or Buteo's of Colorado and we will be honoring and celebrating the beauty, strength and migration feats of the Swainson's Hawk.  This event will take place entirely outdoors.  There will be no restroom facilities present, please plan accordingly.  We will have live Educational Ambassadors present, Swainson's Hawks, Red-tailed Hawks and Rough-legged Hawks to name a few.  Learning stations, activities, shopping to support RMRP's mission and much, much more.

Migration Madness! Did you know Swainson's Hawk fly all the way to Argentina every winter? You can have the opportunity to pretend you are making that migration. For those wishing to participate, we will provide you with a migration passport. Different stations at the event will have stamps for your passport. If you are an ambitious migratory bird, the more Swainson's Hawk food items you gather during the Migration Madness activity, the more stamps you get in your passport. You get a prize for filling your passport.

In the event gift-shop you can purchase a variety of RMRP merchandise. We will also be selling custom made cupcakes provided by MMMM Cloud Cupcakes.  A special Swainson's Hawk T-shirt designed by our very own Bonnie Cleaver for this event is available for you to purchase through our special on-line ordering store - Click here to order.

We hope you will fly by and share a day of learning, feathers and raptors!

Door Prize - Diamond Dot Swainson's Hawk - Don't have to be present to win.
