Raptor Enclosures Being Repaired!
You Are the Heroes We Needed!!!!!!!!

Here are the RMRP, we are moved to tears by the generosity of those who responded to our plea for funding. The hail damaged raptor enclosures will be fixed immediately!

Due to the heart-warming response to our need, we have enough funding to not only fix the enclosures, but we can upgrade the materials we are able to use. In the past, we have used a more cost-effective paneling in the enclosures. The old panels worked well, but could be damaged during bad storms. Past years have seen the need to replace one or two panels occasionally, but this massive storm destroyed almost every panel in the enclosures at the same time.

We were moving toward replacing these older panels with newer, impact-resistant panels as we needed to replace them. Your kindness will allow us to move forward with replacing ALL of the broken panels with the newer, stronger versions.

Screws, washers, panels, replacement wood slats, stain, even replacing the old, broken power drill we have been babying along with a new one to make this project go more efficiently...EVERYTHING we need to complete this project was funded by you.

I am seriously in tears as I write this message to you, our dearest friends. On Tuesday after the storm we felt almost hopeless surveying the damage done to the enclosures. We could only hope that you, our greatest foundation, would be able to hold us up once more.

We are humbled and rejoicing in the love of our supporters. Thank you for making the RMRP possible!!!

With Greatest Gratitude,

Carin Avila
